Toronto Skyline from Tommy Thompson Park - Peter Verboom
Shot this with a 7 exposure tonemap. There was slight ghosting from the flying birds but I retouched those out. I really liked the rays of sun coming through the clouds.
Nice work dude. I like the upper part of the clouds in the top left corner, very heavenly! I'll need your assistance perhaps as I took some shots in order to try them out as HDR images. Why 7 exposures though, typically I've been hearing 3 is the magic number?
Yes 3 is typically enough at -1, 0, +1, or -2, 0, +2 EV. I wanted to see if 7 would bring more detail from the clouds in that top corner and it did, but I usually take them at -1 0 +1. I tried reprocessing with the 3 exposures which had detail from the clouds, the city and the trees and the result turned out pretty much the same so 7 was overkill for this scene.
